Im from Los Angeles. Got into USC, NYU, and Loma Linda. Im leaning towards Loma linda as of now, even though im not SDA. Anyone think im making a wrong choice?

After visiting Loma Linda the past week, I must admit it is nothing like people make it sound with the whole SDA thing. Normal students, normal life, even if you are not SDA like me. thanks for everyone's input

I heard they get crazy at alcohol-free parties too. Those are the best kind 👍
Take USC out of the picture. Now go to whatever is cheaper.
Really anywhere else? Even a super cheap state school? I find that hard to believeAlso don't discount USC when I applied it was my bottom choice due to this forum and now I wouldn't want to go anywhere else

Loma Linda might be a fantastic school made up of fantastic people.
But I would never allow an institution to impose its rules upon my lifestyle unless I explicitly agreed with it, and in most peoples' case that would be the case in which they were raised with it.
You might think that abstaining from drinking and premarital sex might not be so difficult right now, but regardless of whether or not you'd be able to do it, it's the principle of the matter that gets to me, and I think people should be aware of the fact that it might affect them later on as well.
