Can anyone at USC tell me if you have opportunities to work frequently with disadvantaged populations at Keck? This is really important to me and I'm not familiar enough with LA to know what area USC is in. Can anyone help me out?

plenty, there are a huge number of community outreach programs here with various organizations to work at community health fairs for different areas around los angeles. there is also a clinic, can't remember its name, but it is a free clinic where you can help treating the uninsured. There are also outreaches to the local juvey nearby to teach public health.

Look under "Student Organizations." There are lots of opportunities through the school, plus more if you look for them; you just have to take advantage of them.

USC is in East LA.
