These guys are so fast!! My last transcript finally arrived today, and my AMCAS turned active in the morning. USF already sent me an email by the afternoon asking me to verify that I passed minimum GPA and MCAT cutoffs to get the secondary. Do a lot of schools look at your app before it's verified by AMCAS?

They haven't actually looked at your app yet, unless you have been verified/transmitted. Instead, AMCAS keeps a list of all those that have selected certain schools, and the schools can then send out emails about their secondaries. Many of the schools that do this do not screen (MCW comes to mind) however I have not heard of a school that asks you to verify minimum GPA/MCAT. In any case, good luck on the early start.

Thanks a lot! That makes sense.
