hey, i have the kaplan mcat book (the really big book) fom 2005-2006

anyway, i plan on getting one for the DAT when time comes to study for it

my question was, is it smart to use the MCAT book material/practise, especially in the sections such as biology, general chemistry, biology and verbal reasoning

Hey there.... I did the same thing...studied the KAPLAN MCAT books that I got from someone else. The only thing is that the Biology part of those books does not include ecology, evolution, animal behavior and social behavior that the DAT asks. The questions on these sections are pretty specific, so I would get a hold of materials that go into depth in those areas. The Gen Chem and OChem from Kaplan MCAT books were sufficient, however. GOOD LUCK! Study PAT though....I didn't do very good on that section and I think I should retake the DAT...damnit 🙁

hey ,

yes, i will be getting dat material as well, that covers things like PAT

i actually plan on writing it in a few years

i just had a few mcat books here and wanted to look things over while i had time
