Would it be worth doing older MCAT (official AAMC) practice tests for prepping for the new (2015) MCAT?
I have study materials solely geared toward the 2015 format but I am thinking of doing the verbal or even studying some of the bio/chem questions from the older exam. Sure, it won't be testing the same exact thing but it should be similar, right?
Thanks!

i'd like to know too! i got my hands on most of the old exams and i'm wondering if it's worth my time going through them.

They won't cover the biochemistry in nearly enough detail nor will they cover the psych/soc portion. I imagine they'd be fine for the Critical Analysis/reading portion.

Yes absolutely use them. Much of the old verbal is fair game still for the new MCAT. Almost all of the old bio is fair game for the new MCAT. Much of the physics is to a decent extent. There is no better predictor of the MCAT than the questions the AAMC writes in style. No company can replicate that. Anybody studying for the new MCAT should be looking at old MCAT material very carefully. The differences are largely overblown; there are changes in content yes but the style and skills tested are the same.

Thank you! 🙂

I used the question packs and got my hands on one old test. It was helpful but the new sample test is to best.
