Using PDA and other gadgets

Hi, I'll be a transferee coming from another country and I’d like to know if dental schools in the states allow the use of PDA's and digicams inside lecture and laboratory classes? Thanks in advance.

Well, that depends on the prof w/ digicams. I say get the prof's permission as to whether or not you can use digicams. As far as pda's go, I think most instructors would allow the use of those. I would record lectures on my digital music player, and most professors I've encountered didn't mind at all. I think when it comes to recording video, professors may have a problem with that. Other than that, you're good to go!
