Are there any pharmD experiences one could have abroad, such as working for a pharmaceutical company, practicing etc?
I'm interested in working-living abroad without abrogating my pharm career. I'm having trouble find any information. Oceania and England have a program, but I'm not interested in English-speaking countries.

there are a handful of other countries where the PharmD exists, but they have much different "rules" about practice... such as France.

I think it would be pretty challenging to get licensed as a "pharmacist" but i'm sure there are always options in hospital administration/biotech/public health. I've also considered what it would be like to work outside of the US, but not feasible with my US training

another possiblity... work for a US company with your PharmD FROM abroad, such as in medical writing

So difficult, I wouldn't count on it. It is more the option of "I have worked for the company in US for years, and have proven myself to be an indispensable asset, and I am now moving abroad for reason X, so can I please work remotely?" It is not worth it otherwise for the company to go through extra expenses and logistical difficulties to hire someone/send someone abroad.

obviously...

I was thinking along the lines of drug companies, military, foreign hospitals that serve U.S. communities etc.

Industry is a good starting point since many companies have sites in other countries. Find out what companies are where and if it fits what you're looking for. Then you would have to ask each company if they have opportunities for doing international work...but then you would probably have to work your way there.

Also try gettings involved in international organizations like ISPE and ISPOR...there are always opportunities through them.
