Using the same 3 MME experiences for my personal statement?

I already know what the responses are going to be, but I genuinely just cannot do it any other way. If the whole point is to tell my authentic, genuine story for why I want to go into medicine, and also to highlight the 3 experiences that were most meaningful, doesn't it make sense that those may be the same? Like they are the most meaningful, of course they are part of my story - at least, that's how I feel. I have maybe another activity I could technically swap out, but I feel like my personal statement and MMEs would be best if I talk about what I am genuinely passionate about. But I'm assuming this is a big red flag, right? I would approach it from somewhat different angles, but I can imagine that's still not enough.

Welcome to the forums.

There aren't fixed rules, but you can highlight your MME's into your PS, as long as you don't make the MME's identical to the PS.

Outside of that, I'd need to see what you're thinking/writing. The intended prompts for the PS and MME are slightly different: PS (why/what is your motivation) vs. MME (why is this experience meaningful).

Thank you!
That makes sense. The three activites in question are 1) clinical research where I work with minoritized populations 2) community ambassador (non clinical volunteer) at local shelter/soup kitchen and 3) medical assisting.

Would it be okay if I sent you a private message with more detail?

It doesn't sound like they're all the same or just one experience that you're writing about repeatedly. the key is that you don't want the MMEs to merely repeat the PS or vice versa. They should be complementary, and the readers should learn something from the MMEs that she or he didn't learn from your PS.
