Hello,
So I basically earned transfer credit for Gen Chem while I was on a leave for a semester, and I was wondering if using it would be ok with applying to medical school. Since it's one of the main courses of BCPM, I was wondering if it would be disadvantageous to use that transfer credit when applying.

1 semester of inorganic is insufficient. you need a full year (2 semesters, or 3 quarters) plus lab (preferably also 2 semesters/3 quarters)

I do understand that 1 semester of genchem is insufficient. The question was whether if a semester of genchem from another institution for transfer credit is also accepted without a disadvantage when applying.
Are we talking using AP credit?
Nope. It's from another college.

Yes, that's totally fine.
