Im a UK med student, who happens to also be American. After being stranded here for so many years I have decided to actively try to make the jump home...
However, to do so I need to do this ridiculously hard USMLE!! Over here we spread stuff out.
Our setup is a bit different to you guys, 2years preclinical, 1year BSc (random science), 3years clinical. Im currently in year 4...1st clinical year.
Its 2 years since tRNA, PEPCK and others swarmed my mind and Im kinda unsure where to start in all this...So Im looking for help...
QUESTIONS:
How vital is Kaplan qbook? (It just seems expensive, is the free trial enough)
Does this world thing, or the gunner training live up to it at all?
What kind of scores do you need to hit?
Other than first aid, does it really matter what physiology/pharm/path book you use, we use a lot of different ones here?
ANY RESPONSE, or INPUT would be a massive help!
