I was wondering if the USMLE is now using the CAST system where the next section of questions is based on your performance of the previous section. Kind of like the SAT and GRE. I couldn't really tell when I took it myself.
I know that Step 1 isn't adaptive, not this year anyway. They're working on that for the future, according to the Kaplan rep who came to speak to our class, but it's not ready yet.
