USMLE and MCAT

Hi everyone--I'm a second year student, and am going to be taking step I this summer. I've done well in my classes (honored everything so far), and have tried to study hard and learn the material well, but I'm really concerned about step 1. I've never been a great standardized test taker (30 on the mcat), and am concerned that no matter how much prep I do, I'll still get a pretty average score. Is anyone else a more "average" test taker and still manage to pull an above average USMLE score? Do USMLE scores roughly correlate with other standardized test scores? Will lots of prep make up for a lack of skill?! 🙂

Thanks for any help/advice you can give--I'm already starting to get nervous!!!
