Hey all,

I am taking the USMLE CK on tuesday. I am wondering if the format of the exam is similar to USMLE World or is it similar to the NBME assessment exams?

Format is identical to UWorld. NBME is a little outdated (2 too many questions per block) and the appearance of the test is exact to Uworld.

The one thing I would say is that the questions were considerably longer when I took my test last week. I went from 15-20 min left/block to 5 min left on the real thing.

How much time do we get for breaks on CK? Can we get additional time to skip the intro and go to testing sound?

Its identical to step 1. 15 for intro/sound check, 45 break. Can add the 15 into the 45 if you click through quickly.

Any time you finish early on a section is added to break time.
