so nothin? thanks. 🙂
If it were me, I would try to cut out a few of those resources. If you can have fewer resources that you know better, I think that would be best. I know for me and quite a few others, the only pharm we had on our test was FA pharm. BRS Physio might be better than using the full Costanzo. Those are just 2 examples of ways to cut. Also, I read through the first 5-6 chapters of Robbins, and I did not find it particularly useful (unless you're looking for that 270 score). I think the corresponding chapters in Goljan will get you nearly all of the questions on those topics.

Also, I'd go ahead and get a qbank like Rx or Kaplan now, and start getting used to answering those types of questions. Use UW more toward your test date. Since you have so much time, you could potentially do a ton of questions which would help you greatly. Make sure toward the beginning of your studies not to do questions too much because you really need to work on your knowledge base first. I'd start off by doing ~30q/day, and slowly work your way up to ~100 close to the test.

Obviously Goljan and FA are essential, so I would spend this fall really trying to get to know those very well. The better you get to know them in the fall, the easier it will be to review them in the summer after your 2nd half of the 2nd year. Also, if it were me, I'd avoid putting in too many notes in your FA this early. Since you have so much time, you have the potential to annotate TOO much useless stuff into your FA, and it might make FA more confusing. Of course that just depends on who you are and how you take notes. I was glad I didn't start highlighting FA until 2 weeks before the test. That really made the final passes through FA easier because I could easily pick out the stuff I didn't know. I didn't want to have my attention go to stuff that I know well now, but may not have known 3 months ago.
