i'm preparing for usmle and came across these sites that sell prep. books.

i wonder if these are for real or just scams. is it safe to buy with credit.
anyone has experience with these or similar sites? which one u feel offers best value?
where can u get kaplan notes ,Goljan...etc from on the cheap?

These are materials that can be found all over the internet for free. Isn't it illegal to sell this stuff due to copyright law?

I'm sure it's illegal.
but it's illegal too to have them for free for the same reason (copyright)
anyway, where can I find them for free.
