usmle practice MCQs

Just wondering if people recall whether the practice MCQs on the USMLE cd were representative of the real exam. It seems like the q's are a lot shorter (and more straightforward) than the usmleworld questions. test is in 2 days so any info is appreciated! thanks!!

Hey, just took Part 1 of 2 today and I too was surprised how "easy" the CD seemed. After taking Part 1 today, I realized that the CD questions are very representative of the real thing. So if you rocked the CD, you are ready.

Also, go over the answers to the questions, I saw 1-2 variations of questions on the CD on the actual exam. And, I did see variations of USMLEWORLD questions on the real exam too.

I feel good about today. Hoping tomorrow will be the same. My average on UW was mid 50's. Finished all blocks in random order, only unused questions. Good luck.

does anyone know if there are explanations to the answers for the questions on the CD? i know kaplan offered them in a pdf file for step 1 or 2
