I'm about 18% through Rx so far, and I think it is a great tool for memorizing facts. Certain side-effects of drugs, embryo, etc.... there are some points that this question bank just hammers into your brain. For that, I love it.

Some questions seem exceptionally vague. Like the kind of thing people bitch about on COMLEX.

For example, I just got a question about a congenital diaphragmatic hernia. I got it right because all the other answer choices seemed wrong, but it said that there was a CXR of the patient, and "no visible aerated lung on the right side, but normal lung on the left"

Wouldn't there be a little more than just "no visible aerated lung" on the CXR? And wouldn't there be bowel sounds?

I know that would give the question away, so I don't have a problem with them not making it obvious, but is this how the real exam is? Because that is kind of a ****ty question.

There are a good number of questions like this on Rx. Is this something I need to be ready for? I have to take COMLEX since I am at an osteopathic school, so I am under the impression that this is the sort of thing that might be on there. But on the USMLE too?

Just curious what to expect.
