iam an intern right now,and wondering about step 1. actually confused
how might my score should be for pediatrics residency.?? is it important more than step 2 for appyling ?? or total USMLE score ??please help me about USMLE scores and pediatrics programs.

The term "intern" in the US is used to refer to the first year of graduate medical education. Your status says medical student, so I suspect you are an FMG doing a government mandated intern year required for graduation.

In general USMLE Step 1 is most important because all students will have taken it at the time of application; not all students have taken Step 2. Therefore, Step 1 is the great equalizer. However, you should do as well as you can on both examinations, regardless of the specialty you're applying for.
