Got a envelope in the mail today from the NBME. Looks official.

My heart skipped a beat. I ran up stairs, and thought, "i'm going to walk outside set by myself and open it." So I chill for a second to regain composure. I walk outside, it's beutiful, thinking I can't get bad news today. I mean come on, if they are going to delay sending out our results, they shouldn't be sending out surveys, that's just cruel. Anyone else get one, or is my opinion just highly regarded?

Sorry fresh, soon enough I guess. I just packaged the survey up and sent it off in the mail, after I cleaned up number 2 with it.:laugh:

I did actually write them a note saying what F uck wads they were for sending it right now.

Med student paranoia will make people fill it out out of some deluded sense that your exam may fall to the bottom of the pile if you don't comply. Nobody really thinks that kind of thing will happen but enough people won't risk the bad karma.

honest to god, i threw mine away. mainly because i felt tricked.

I think that is because what you think before you receive the grade is what they really want to know, because after you receive your grade you might be a little bias.
Any how if they read the internet they know my opinon, and I think that after this waiting period people will be a little less lenient to comply or give and honest repply.

I just called my school and checked... She said "call back july 18th".

me too...I haven't even gotten the infamous survey yet!

When I get it, I will still think that maybe, just maybe, my scores are in there.

Anyone else not even get that yet?

Just to relieve that stress for you all. My survey said that I was randomly selected. I'm sure it has nothing to do with P/F

Everytime I read this thread... I see the title "Scores are in" and my heart jumps..

I don't know if this has anything to do with it, but I took all four NBMEs, and one the ones I scored in the 240s, I got the survey, however on the two that I scored in the 220's, I didn't get the survey....

i didnt get any surveys.

my friend got the survey before she took step 1, so dont worry

Yeah, sorry. Somehow changing the title seems sort of dictator-ish. And my title is "Advisor" not "Supreme Being" (though I wouldn't have any objections if SDN wanted to change it).

It'll all be over in a few days!!
