For those who are applying for USN, can you share some ideas on what your wrote on your essay? I have no idea what to write. 😱

-What attracts you to a career in pharmacy?
-What area of pharmacy do you think you will pursue and why?
-Why do you think you will make a good pharmacist?
-Why should the committee recommend you to be a student in USN PharmD program?

There is a running theme between those four questions, and I've bolded it for you. These are all very personal questions, and ones that you need to answer yourself. Here are some hints, though.

Question 1: Dig down deep--- surely you have some idea as to why you want to be a pharmacist? What life experience(s) shaped your desire to study pharmacy?

Question 2: Check out the FAQ. Read up on what it is that pharmacists do, figure out which areas you find interesting and why, and just start writing.

Question 3: Asking random internet people why you will make a good pharmacist isn't going to help, because we don't know you! Think about qualities that pharmacists need to have, and consider yourself in the context of those qualities.

Question 4: What makes you unique? How do you distinguish yourself from the hundreds or thousands of other applicants to that program? You need to 'sell yourself' as a future student and pharmacist here.
