I'm on the waitlist for the USP and Widener DPT programs. I was wondering who all was going, just so I can see what my chances are of getting in. Also between the two schools, which school is better?

Tuition for the entire length of the program is $45,000 less at Widener and Widener's 3 year pass rate is 100% vs. USP at 97.3%. I think you can figure out which one I'd recommend.

I am going to Widener in the fall, and applied to USP also as a back up. I have heard not so great things about USP's program, mainly about the student atmosphere. Because USP has a PrePT major that automatically admits their students into the DPT upon graduation, the students tend to have already formed their own "cliques." I have talked to a few students that went to USP after graduating from a different school, and more than one ended up going to different program because they felt alienated from their classmates. Widener is definitely one of the cheaper programs in the area and I have heard all great things about the program, both from current students, PTs that have guest taught at Widener, and some of the PT faculty. Good luck!
