Looking at USP and they want Human Growth and Life Span Development as a prereq. What else can the Human Growth course be called? Do they accept any other prereqs? Like Kinesiology insead of Physics?? 😀

I was wondering about "Human Growth and Life Span Development" too.

Does this course look like what they are looking for? (Available at a local community college.)

PSY 206 Human Development/Life-Span Ap
Credits: 3.00
A study of human development from conception to death. The physical, social, psychological and cognitive areas of life-span development will be examined. The major theories of human development the potential age stage-related crisis and other related problems of each stage will be given careful attention.

You have to check with each school individually about what they will take. However based on the research I have done "conception to death" is what they are wanting covered for that Lifespan & Human Development prerequisite.

A few universities point out it must cover aging/geriatrics because some lifespan courses do/did not. In my case, I took each stage of development as a separate course for my psychology degree but did not take an aging course. So I had to go back and retake the generic "Lifespan" course to get that 1 chapter of aging in.

Hi..
USP does accept Human development class taken at community college...I took mine at community college, and I am accepted...but i don't think they accept kinesiology for physics

good luck

They definitely don't take kinesiology in place of physics. Are you applying to the MOT or DrOT?
