quick question.. tomorrow UT is having an open house, (i already have an interview but this is unrelated completely). What is the usual attire for these open houses? We'll be eating with the students, visiting some classes, and hearing the dean speak. Like I said this has nothing to do with getting invited for an interview, so I'm unsure of what I should wear?? Any adivce would be welcomed!! Thanks!!

I would say business casual. I am not pre-registered because I thought I had class tomorrow. But now I realize we are off tomorrow for fall break. Do you think it would be really bad to just show up to the open house without pre-registering? I really don't want to make a bad impression by showing up without an RSVP. What do you think? Then, do you know the details? Where? Times? Thanks so much!

i think it'd be fine if you went. it starts at 8am. It should be over by about 1:30 (after lunch) so it shouldn't be that big of a deal. I would go if I were you. I know some others who are just showing up too! So you're doing business casual, I just didn't want everyone showing up in suits and I didn't!

I'm female and wearing black slacks, closed toed shoes, a collared button down, with a black sweater over it. I hope this is ok. I think I'm going to show up. Where does everyone meet?

where did you hear about the open house? is it for San antonio or houston? Is there a website? just curious...I am not a student at the moment and would like to attend but need the info...
