Do you think the PT program will be easier to get into now that the UTHSC medical school is one probation? I hope so 🙂

Wouldn't it be the other way around? Now that their med school is on probation students might look into other majors such as PT...?

is the WHOLE medical school on probation? (to include PA, PT, OT, dental, nursing, etc.) or is it just the medical school, as in the medical school that turns out M.D.'s?? cause then there would def be more of a problem in applying to PT school, in my opinion...

ONLY the medical school is on probation, it's unfortunate that this has to be tied into our program, but all the other programs (including, dental, OT, DPT, etc.) are still top notch.

Ah, no let me rephrase that: only the medical program (as in the program that gives away MD's) is on probation. As far as I know the chair recently mentioned that CAPTE (the accreditation people) gave us positive reviews when they visited us last year. So yeah, I guess we're just guilty by association.... unfortunately. But bottom line, we're still awesome and completely not related to the medical school's probation! 🙂
