Yes I am and I went to UT in Knoxville for undergradAre you from Tennessee? I heard it's pretty hard getting in from out of state. My friend got in with a 3.75 GPA, 3.8ish pGPA, and like a 307 GRE

I just turned down an acceptance last week. I'm out of state, from Alabama. My stats were a 3.4 GPA, not sure about my pGPA but it was much higher (biology major) and a 300 on the GRE. Tough, but not impossible. I took the GRE cold-turkey with no studying at all. I don't recommend that strategy hah!

I got a 301 on the gre without studying as well. Did you score above a 150 on each section? It says you have to have at least a 150 on each section and I had a 149 on one and 152 on the other. Their website says it just has to be a 300 overall. Also were you accepted off of the waitlist?I just turned down an acceptance last week. I'm out of state, from Alabama. No, I just had a 300 overall! Yes, I was wait listed. According to their stats on PTCAS only about 5-6 people per class of 60 are out of state. If you get wait listed, I would say you still have a great chance if i did!

Just make it a habit to study for it. Like a Monday through Friday after work or after school ritual just read a chapter from the book. All the prep book are honestly very much the same, and they look big and scary but a chapter a day and you can get it knocked out super fast

A 310 is an awesome score. I would have studied, but I planned on waiting until this cycle to apply and decided last minute that I would go ahead and apply which was a mistake. Do you have any recommendations for gre study prep?
I used Magoosh and was happy with all but my AW score on my first GRE, but honestly, I didn't practice the writing sections at all. It's like $100 for three months, everything is online, and the practice tests were set up very similarly to the way the actual GRE looked. I ended up with 161V, 159Q, & 4.0W.
Would anyone who applied to/got accepted to UTHSC mind sharing their stats. I'm applying in the upcoming application cycle and wanted to get a feel for what the competitive scores would be.
I applied from in-state and was accepted.
