The exam was on manikin.We were asked rt max 1 molar FGC and man lt 1 molar class II.The essays..one personal and two subject related.

Hey Chennaidentist........Thanks a lot for providing helpful information for still waiting applicants. I too got an Interview call for Nov 20 and 21 but have not received my application packet yet. Do we have to bring our own stuff for tooth preparation or they provide everything??

I had my interview scheduled for the 6th and 7th of November, 2008. But for some reason I had to ask them to postpone it.
Ms. Barbara Sturm wrote back to me saying that my application had been put back in the batches for possible rescheduling more than two weeks ago .But I havent heard from her after that. I hope they don't cancel interviews for people who ask for rescheduling!!
Does anyone else have any experience with rescheduling at UTHSCSA?

what do we need to take along with us for the intv??? this is my 1st one and iam little nervous abt it,plz help me.

i had the same problem vd texas..i asked for rescheduling and they told me the same thing n since then they hvnt gotten back to me...they told me they r conductin interviews only till mid dec..but some ppl hv already gotten acceptances also so i dunno vt chances v hv..did they gv out any other info 2 u?

my cousin declined an interview today for san antonio dental school, interview was suposed to be on dec 6,7. He got into another advanced standing program already. I hope someone else gets called.

I called up the dental school and talked to Ms. Sturm. She said that my application had been put back in the file of candidates shortlisted to be called for interviews. But there was no guarantee that I would be called again. If I had known this before, I probably would not have asked them to reschedule.
This is a lesson for all.. If you get called for interview at UTHSCSA, DO NOT ask them to reschedule.. You may not be called again!!!

They are Kilgore typodonts. They show you the final prep in an image.You have to make a mental note.
