UTMB MOT Interview

Hi guys!
I have been waitlisted at UTMB too and was told today that I am 30/35 on the waitlist. Has anyone else heard anything? How much does the waitlist move annually?
I'm really bummed bc I really loved UTMB 🙁

I am waitlisted as well. I am not sure how much it moves annually, I can only hope it does MOVE! lol I have a friend who was also on the wait-list last year and she actually got accepted late in June. So I am not giving up hope just yet. I am really hoping its too late for some people and we end up getting that chance. I really liked it as well, it is my top choice.

So UTMB has a wait-list of 35 people and you know your rank? What is the size of the class, anyway? And did they tell you how many people applied?

I called and they told me my rank. [even though previously they had said they couldn't because it was unranked...]
That's the only info they gave me

MOTexas ... any idea how much the list moves? I would love love love to get in and am debating if i should plan something else as a backup. this sucks

hopefulOT...No idea as to how much it will move. I guess it really depends on each year and it will be different each year you know? Depending on whether or not people actually accept UTMB as well.

You didn't say how many the program accepted but my guess is around 40-45. It's interesting that UTMB conducts waves of interviews ( and no pun intended for the proximity to the beach ). I think having 35 people on a wait-list is a bit long and more so if you're ranked toward the end; although they said they didn't rank but then told you they do?!? I don't know...the entire process seems unusual. Do you have any other programs you are expecting to hear back from and are you willing to wait another year to re-apply?

The class size is now between 50 and 55. They increased the class size because the population in Texas is increasing, causing a greater need for OT's. They also shortened the program from 2 1/2 to just 2 years. It's going to be pretty hectic now that they're packing the classes into fewer semesters, but, regardless, I'm excited to get going! Time's going to fly by once the program starts, I'm sure.

Hi everyone. I was just wondering if any of you or anyone out there intervewed on March 25 for the OT program at UTMB?

If any of you did have you all received your acceptance letters?

When you were invited to interview did they send you a list of possible of interview questions?

When do you all have to be in galveston for orientation?

What are some examles of interview questions you all received?

I would really apreciate your help.
