So I'm WL at Cornell and NYU and am debating whether or not to send mass letters/emails to Cornell or NYU telling them how badly I want to go. I already got into UVA and am in-state so tuition will be a little cheaper than the other schools (30K/year). I was wondering what you guys had to say whether or not I should pursue this or just drop it and go to UVA.

I would like to know this in terms of quality of education/training/happiness.

I got into NYU, but rejected by Cornell (my alma mater). Go to Cornell if you get off the waitlist. Its a really nice location, and I hear the facilities are first class. I'm not a big fan of Greenwich Village and Bellevue Hospital, which is why I will likely not go to NYU
