why is the uveitis in JIA asymptomatic even when there are 4+ cells. There is no circumciliary congestion either.. Any ideas???

That is a great question, though I don't believe the answer is known. The etiology of uveitis in JRA is itself not well-understood, though it's clearly autoimmune. The obvious reason for lack of symptoms and ciliary flush is lack of ciliary body inflammation, but why does anterior uveitis in JRA not involve the ciliary body, as it does in other forms?
