I heard that the University of Washington and Washington State University share their applicant pool. I was told that if you get an interview from UW you typically will not hear from WSU if UW will be offering you a spot. Someone who had gotten into UW and was not even offered an interview with WSU told me this. Does anyone know if this is true or has experienced this or is this just a bunch of phoney bologna?

I have a couple of friends who got the admissions from both UW and WSU.

That is very false...each school has their own applicant pool.
