UW during the year or save for Step 2?

I'm seeing a lot of recommendations to go ahead and do UW during the year, but it is the best qbank for Step 2. I know that using UW throughout the year would help with the shelf exams but is it wise to use up these valuable questions before the intense studying for Step 2? Would someone who used UW during the year and taken Step 2 please comment on whether this was a good choice or not?

I'd definitely do it during the year if you can. The more familiar you are with UW, the better prepared you'll be for CK, IMO.

Just FYI, if you get a subscription for 6 months or more, you can now reset your scores and start the qbank over again from scratch. Kind of nice if you plan on going through it twice.
