Has anyone interviewed at UW yet? i know it is still WAY too early, but has anyone gone through it yet? can you give us your feedback please? :scared:

Give it a while, they just started interviewing. Mine is next thurs....

Did u get ur invite for an interview at UW through mail?

I don't really have anything to add to this thread, but I noticed it was about UW so I figured I should probably post something about how they're not interviewing me.

*@#*(^*(^*@$*^!@^*(!@$

That is all

I am still waiting to hear from UW, esp since it's the dental school in my state.

I submitted my secondary application during the 1st week of October. I hope they process them quickly.

I really do want to interview at UW!!!

Don't worry armor, my state school isn't givin me any love yet either!😉

I interviewed a week ago. PM me if you have any questions about it. I dont want to post interview feedback b/c i dont want to jinx it. That and all this stuff about being traced is freeking me out:scared: oh crap, i just said i interviewed last week. 😉

Okay, I guess that's selfish of me. I'll post something in a sec. I only have good things to say, so i dont think they can hold it against me.

Wow, i wonder who had that really bad experience? UW can come accross as being full of themselves, so i see where they might be coming from.

Anyway, I forgot to say that if you have a choice, schedule for the interview later in the morning. There is a break between when you interview and when all of the interviewers finish up and you all meet w/ the asst dean. Durring this time you can meet one on one with the financial aide ladies. However, if you're not familiar with the school bring a book. The health sciences is a labrynth, so dont wonder too far. The main campus is beautiful, though. Go up there if you have time.

Hey, do I have to call UW to schedule? Or do I wait for a letter from them telling me when my date is? Thank you, and have a nice day.

I'm assuming you received an interview invite..? if so, you call them and schedule an interview on either a Monday or a Thursday, with times and dates dependent upon what is available. Good Luck

Ok, cool. It's just that I called earlier and it was all automated, then at the end of the message it said don't leave a message. Next thing I know, there's a beep and I panicked and hung up.

Ok, I called again just to make sure: "Please don't leave any messages."

[EDIT]
I am going to send them an e-mail. Anyway, what is up with that? They don't have anyone manning the phones, and they don't want you to leave any messages. How am I supposed to schedule, exactly?

The number they give you in the interview invite letter is a direct line, not the general number for the admissions office. On this direct line number you are actually advised to leave a message if they don't answer and they will call you back at a time designated by you in the message. This number is only for those who have actually received an interview.

Argh, when will my letter get here! 😀

in her drawer,

how do you know you got an UW interview if you haven't officially received a the letter? doesn't make sense.

You may now disregard my ranting and raving. I got the letter today. 🙂

[EDIT]
Does anyone know if there are November dates left?

Does this help, you unbeliever?

hahah...this made me laugh. i was called an "unbeliever." it almost has a religious connotation to it. but in all seriousness, i think you read my post wrong. i meant it in another tone.
good luck though. uw is great!

My only consolation to the fact that I have still not received a UW invite is that in a few short weeks I will see some of there undergrads take such a ridiculous pounding that some of my anger and frustrations will be allieved.

they will call you back. THey left me hangin out for a couple of days too..

Yeah it's fine, love. I misunderstood you, but you're still a heretic.

Yeah, they called me today. I got Dec 4th. It's after 12/1, but I'm gonna go anyway.

Oh please, you know you're going to end up coug'n it in the end.

The dawgs are on the verge. You're just lucky you're getting out of Pullman before "Montlake" Jake Locker returns UW to its glory days.

what did you guys think of the UW dental school? i heard that they have a strong program and have pretty good funding. I'm still waiting on them, I submitted my secondary in mid-September and still haven't heard anything back. I think it might be my low PAT score, any thoughts??😕

In the UW letter, they only state the start time for interviews. Could somebody who has already been to UW tell me what time they finish? Is it around 4PM or something? Thanks.

Do you guys know if UW dental school interview in-state applicants first?

The reason is non of my out-of-state friends who are appying to UW dental school got any response from the office.

Applicants are interviewed based on when they submit their application and when their file is complete (ie. letters of rec, transcript, secondary app, etc.).

If I remember correctly, I think I sent it out sometime in late July or early August. I can't really remember...took a little while for them to respond
