Received my acceptance letter last week! I sent in my deposit this week and can't wait to start!

I'd definitely encourage you to apply for the 2nd round. Madison has a great program and amazing faculty. Additionally, the city of Madison is awesone as well!


Here are my stats:

Undergrad Major: Exercise Science
Overall GPA:3.31
Pre-Req GPA: 3.4 - 3.58 (depending on school)

Grad Major: Kinesiology
GPA: 3.74

GRE: 1190; V 540, Q 650, AW 4.5

Volunteer/Observation hours: (working as an aide in OP clinic and hospital).
Outpatient Ortho - 1000+ (sports, pediatrics, geriatrics, women's health), Inpatient Acute - 120 & Inpatient Neurological - 45.

Applied to: Concordia, Mayo, MGH, Montana, RMUoHP, Texas St - San Marcos, U of Florida, UNC, UW-La Crosse, UW-Milwaukee, UW-Madison.

Acceptances: UW - Madion, UW - La Crosse

Rejections:

Interviews: Mayo (12/9) - Declined, TX St (2/3) - Declined, Nova (Phone) - Declined

Thanks! Madison had 219 completed, qualified applications last year. I imagine that number will increase quite a bit next year since they are joining PTCAS for the next admission cycle.
