So for those that got into UW, how are you finding housing? Especially the out-of-staters.

Are you planning to live in Stevens Court? or are you looking in Craigs list? How are you finding roommates?

If you are looking for roommates, please PM me. Tell me a little bit about yourself and your habits. If I get 3 compatible ones, we can apply to Stevens Court together. I think Stevens court would be a great option for the first year out-of-staters.

Also, if I end up opting not to find a roommate among pharm. students, I can still refer you guys to each other

I saw that Stevens Court rates are $597. So I would have to consider whether there's better options. Preferably, there's something very close to UW and cheaper.

lol i think ive posted this link a few times on this website. go to
http://www.thedaily.washington.edu and click on classifieds there are a lot of apartments and houses listed on there and are updated constantly. Also do not live in Stevens court it is overpriced and is probably already full by now. There will be more listings for fall as fall quarter approaches so just keep checking the website.

I agree with the Stevens Court comment.
you're a grad student now, don't live in UW housing get your own place.
There are lots of apartments surrounding campus, just take your pick.
Besides, if you still have trouble i can always show you around during the July Registration meeting. 😉😉

Is $400 and close to campus even possible? I did some searching but I didn't come up with anything that I really wanted. My friend recommended Nordheim court but I think it's even pricier than Steven's court. Still gotta finish worrying about some other school stuff before I really start looking hard.

Hey Yawj, I'm not sure if I'll be there for July registration meeting. I didn't receive information about the meeting times either.
