UW supplemental quick question

So I received the UW supplemental app yesterday and noticed that it does not specify the length of the supplemental essay. Does anyone know what they're looking for? a page? more? Thanks!

Hey just curious when you sent in your aadsas in comparison to when you received the supplemental, i sent mine July30th and received the initial email from them..just waiting on the secondary. also are you a wa resident? thanks!!

I just wrote a page and a half for the first essay. They don't specify the length though.
It seems the length is not that important. however for the second one you see that you are limited for only one page.

Thanks Marmar! My initial application was sent from aadsas on 7/16 but I didn't take my DAT until 8/9 and it was sent out 8/27. Received the supplemental 9/9.

Mine were two pages and a page respectively. Both double spaced.

I would suggest limiting yourself to one page (double spaced) per essay. Remember that UW is receiving thousands of application, so try to make your essays concise and interesting.
