Any point in using them as a learning tool?

what do you mean by the question?
if I am getting the question right, just focus on the subjects more that you score the worst or the questions that most people got right (>50%) and you are getting them wrong!

Hi,

Are you asking if the UW Assessments can be studied from like their regular qbank? If so, the answer is yes. The questions are different from the qbank (according to the UW website) and they have answers and explanations that you can study and review. The only thing is that you have to do the 4 blocks in order, and there is only timed mode. You must complete all 4 blocks first, get the 3-digit score, and then you can go back and review the answers, which you cannot do with the NBMEs.

If you do both assessments, that's like having 8 additional blocks of questions to study from.
yes. i wanted to know whether the assessment tests can be considered as an extention of the 2036 questions available. i guess because they are only available for a limited time period (2wks) they are of less value. i wish they would not be so user-unfriendly and let those who purchase their qbank keep it. what they should do is just update it yearly to keep folks interested in their product instead of creating all kinds of weird checks (that have been bypassed by those who really want to).
