UWSA 1 reusing questions?

I tried looking for a similar post on this but couldn't find anything. I just took UWSA 1 this morning and could have sworn I saw multiple repeats from the uworld qbank. I thought they were supposed to be all new/different questions but could anyone confirm/deny this? I didn't spend the time to go back and try to find the same exact questions but I specifically remember a few where the vignette was the exact same minus maybe 1 fluff sentence that didn't contribute to the overall question.

I'm only about 30% through uworld right now so I was wondering for those who did all of uworld did you notice multiple questions that looked like copies? Curious if this would at least partially explain the inflated scores notorious for UWSA1-2 and if so, would it be more likely to accurately predict (or at least not be the standard 10-20 points higher than what is basically established) your score if you are not far into the qbank as opposed to someone who was finished/near finished with it?

Might have similar questions but I don't think they are the same at all. You will see very similar questions in the same qbank and even between qbanks. Also, sometimes you will accidentally read a question on a forum that was taken from UW SA or even from NBME's, and when you get to that question during the practice tests, the question stem and even the answers will seem very familiar.

There was a question in UWSA1 that was repeated two blocks later on the same UWSA1. Or it was a very similar question. Anyone else remember that?

Yeah, I think in general you are right, just seeing the same concepts over again makes me think it was the exact same question.

I did however go over part of UWSA-1 this morning though and one of the questions I thought were very very similar was QID 6610 on UWSA-1 and QID 1888 in the actual qbank. Not sure if I can legally post the entire vignette/answer choices so I won't (unless you all agree its legal) but you can go back and take a look at the similarity between the 2. Its basically the same vignette/answer choices with a few words taken out of the UWSA-1 one, but like you said its just a matter of the same concept showing up I guess.

As for Hobo-I think the question you were referring to was the MOA of the glitazones-slightly different vignettes but basically same question and answer choices.
