VA CRNA thing

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
The ultimate goal is for Crnas to be working side by side. Getting the easy cases while the tough ones are handled by the docs. That would be the 'economical' way of running a department. Win for hospitals. Win for Crna. SOL for anesthesiologists.

And SOL for some of the patients.

Thats the worst possible scenario for anesthesiologists:

1) Get sicker patients that probably go for longer cases with more risk for less pay
2) Decrease salaries due to most B + B going to CRNAs and payment should decline to CRNA wages, which can continue to decrease as they flood the market
3) Win for consultant business guys!
