I spent 7 years at different VAs in training between being a med student, resident, and fellow. I don't know what it would take for me to consider a job through a VA, but it would certainly be more than market rate. It's a system with many frustrating bureaucratic hurdles that I never want to deal with again.

Add to that that they pay less than market rate on top of that? Of course it's a "no ****" situation.
