What is the "Valence-bond formula" of a molecule? I saw it as a potential answer in the AAMC Self Assessment - Chemistry test, question 85. I've tried looking it up and I can't figure out exactly what that means. Is it just meant to be a distraction? The question was referring to two molecules that had the same empirical formula.
