i'm not applying but i've been to one of the vandy optho dept interest group meetings. they say people who get interviews at vandy are generally 230+, ahtough there are some exceptions. they really stress the importance of being able to back up what u write on ur resume...cuz they'll get on ur case if u can't....i.e. "claims of fluency in spanish...but can't converse w/ another doc in spanish".
