How's it going man? Unfortunately, after countless discussions with many people (including yourself) I decided on Penn. I graded both IU and Penn as just about equal in terms of quality of education, reputation, and cost (out of state tuition). However, I decided on location as my overall tiebreaker. Even though Indy is a cool town, I thought Philly had a more diverse and entertaining social scene, and it being in the Northeast I'd be closer to other friends I have up there. Having been in the South my whole life I want to experience something new. So thanks for all your input and I wish you the most success at IU. It's an outstanding school. Maybe we'll meet up later on down the road as colleagues! Take care buddy and good luck.
