VCOM S.O.S.A. Rocks!!!

This weekend, VCOM's chapter of SOSA (Student Osteopathic Surgical Associtaion) hosted our National Conference. VCOM's members did a great job organizing speakers from Surgical Residents and attendings to PATCH ADAMS... all of which, impressed me and my peers here at LECOM-Bradenton a great deal!!!

VCOM's SOSA managed to set up surgical labs which included laparoscopic use and suturing techniques, endoscopic techniques, and bowel resection techniques. All hands on and VERY COOL!!!

They also had a professor teaching pre- and post-op OMM techniques that can be utilized for faster recovery times.

Did I forget to mention that those VCOMers definitely know how to party?!?! I'll let someone else fill in the details! 😎

I'd like to thank everyone in VCOM's SOSA chapter, especially Eric, Lil, Jason, Rob, Lisa, Johnny, Oosh (sp?), and VCOM's very lovely Kristy 😍

That conference is going to be very hard to follow!

I am glad that you all had a good time, and thanks for the props, but it was our pleasure. We are looking foward to coming to Florida for the next conference and I hope to see yall there. Tell you gang that I say hi and that the VCOMers say thanks for the good word, till later
