Well, since it appears the waitlist has been made we should be finding out our fates pretty soon good or bad. Haven't heard anything on D.5, so I don't know if that list has been made yet tho. If not, we get to wait even longer...good times!!

no update for me either. when i corresponded with dr healy about 2 weeks ago he told me that D.5 and waitlist lists would be made mid march. so i don't know whats going on with the person that says waitlisted. oh well. i am really hoping for d.5 I think it could potentially be awesome.
 
Has really no one received an acceptance from the "third round" yet? or did all the acceptances for "third round" just go to those people who aren't members of SDN? March just isn't coming fast enough (especially with this year being leap year...)
 
Is it possible to be placed simultaneously on the wait list and the D5 group so if someone was pulled off the wait list then they wouldn't have to wait around a year while in the D5 program?
 
any luck for any of you? My status changed from "Received/Application Complete" to "Received/Application Denied", hopefully ill have some better luck next year.

Good luck to you as well. ive pretty much given up hope for this year, its soo late and I have yet to even get an interview. Unfortunately I scored poorly on the DAT when I took it back in Aug. Hopefully ill be better prepared and improve my score when I retake in April.
 
my status still says invited for interview too. i guess thats a good thing? i can't wait for the end of march to get here already. i am really hoping for d.5 at this point!
 
I guess a lot of rejections went out this week since the list of rejections on predents for VCU has gone up significantly. There were only two people on the list when I checked just a few days ago.

I don't understand why someone this guy didn't get so many interviews:

his stats look pretty good besides his overall GPA. now I'm worried about applying next year...
 
hmmm well it seems like most of the rejections were out of staters and international student. maybe all those seats were filled and now it down to filling up the instate seats? i can only hope.

all you need to do is check the facebook group for 2012. Quite a few from BYU/Utah.
 
just wanted to let you guys know that my classmate got accepted last week in the third round. we have virtually the same stats and Im still waiting! i'm really hoping for a d.5 spot at this point, but good luck to all!
 
just wanted to let you guys know that dr. healy e-mailed me back today saying that the D1 class if now full...he didn't mention anything about D5 or the wait list so i guess there's still some hope for us
 
With that info and the email that Dr. Healy sent me, it looks like I'll be putting my deposit down for LLU. It seems unlikely that I'll get a spot at this juncture.

I'm not even sure if I would/could have accepted the VCU spot if I got it, but it would have been nice to have the opportunity, and I am bummed I won't be able to meet some of you guys.
 
Yeah, not the best news I've gotten ever, but there is still a glimmer of hope. Someone has to get on the waitlist and the D.5 list, so it might as well be some of us!! Keep the faith my friends!!

all thats standing between me and next notification from Healy is SPRING BREAK! it is much need, this application process has definitely caused me to need some R & R is hot sunny florida!

That's definitely not what I wanted to hear, but we can't give up hope just yet - still waiting on wait list and D.5 which someone said he will be making that in March (so I guess in a week or 2)...

so i know healy said the lists would be made mid to end of march, but i still can't stop checking every couple of hours!!! i think i might be losing my mind!

question: do you think he will update the status on aadsas for d.5? also, is this the time that we need to be attached to our cell phones?

I'm not sure if they will update D.5 thru aadsas or not. I would think that you would want to be attached to your cell phone after the lists have been made and you know exactly where you stand (if you're on the waitlist). With that said, it can't hurt to have it with you tho...who knows? I agree with the waiting...it's not very fun! 🙂

i got the vibe that there were ten people who got waitlisted and from these ten people the D5 program was selected from. wouldn't that make sense.
 
thanks, but I already put down my deposit at LLU. 🙁 It would take something major (including an acceptance) to end up switching.

I'm pretty sure they are seperate lists. So 20 people in all are involved. If you're on the waitlist and don't get in then you have to try again next cycle. If you're a D.5 you have a place to go no matter what. I could be wrong on that, but I'm pretty sure that's how it works.

Congrats on the waitlist lemoncurry! I know it's not what you hoped for, but it's something!! I haven't heard anything yet, so it's either D.5 (if they haven't already updated that thru aadsas) for me or next cycle. We shall see!!
