So, the status on AADSAS for my VCU application has said received/application complete. All the others say Received/Under review or something that makes you think that it's being looked at. Am I okay? Is this what others experienced? Thanks

TO-MAY-TO, TO-MA-TO... It's the same thing in different words and yes, that is VCUs way of saying it. 😉

My AADSAS status page still says that VCU hasn't received my official DAT scores, even though I know that they have them, because I called and asked them.

Has this happened to anybody else?

I think we can all agree that they, like most others, do not update AADSAS as frequently as we check it. My status has been the same for a month or more now.

wut are u serious? they let u know if they received ur dat score? when i called them, they said one thing "check AADSAS, we dont give out any info over the phone." My aadsas still blank.

mine changed to "received/application complete". i think it just means under review as other schools say, but hey, i'll take it even if it means the same (as long as its not a rejection👍).

ok, i actually logged on to write about just this haha

my status changes today from Received/ Under Review TO Received/Application Complete.

Is this good/bad, all the other schools have gone directly from received/under review to invited for interview. So is this a "we're not sure about you?" or a "we are going to invite you this friday" type of update?

Opinions?

(p.s. i have an excel file which i update daily with changes and dates to track what is updated)

I don't think it means the same thing as mine has said "received/under review" for a month now and it recently changed to "received/app complete".

I agree, i think they're evaluating us if we are interview caliber...maybe we'll see this friday??

Why do you say "friday"? do they extend interview invitations every friday?

haha well maybe i should have said by friday, but in my experience every interview i have gotten whether it be by snail mail or aadsas has been on a friday

and if i remember right, i think it was vcu that told me they update on fridays, but i'm not sure

It does change. Mine was 'Received/Application Complete' for about a month and a half. They will send you a letter in the mail if you get an invite. Then you call them to set a date and 'poof' your AADSAS status changes to 'Invited for Interview.' At least that's the way it worked with me.

i hope that month and a half wait from "received/app complete" till invite is not standard as mine status just changed today.

Anybody else have a different experience with VCU notification time?

ah, very good, this is exactly my situation, and i assume a few of the other posters. Does anyone know relatively how many interviews they have given out so far?? predents said 34

to everyone whose status changed today or very recently to "received/app copmlete" - was your app package complete when AADSAS mailed it out and when was it mailed out? if not, when was the last material (DAT score, LOR, etc.) sent out? In my case, i submitted AADSAS 8/1 but LORs not sent out till 9/22.

Mine never said 'Received/In Review.' It started out as 'Received/Application Complete.' I think VCU probably just decided to change how they designated it mid-cycle. I highly doubt it'll be another month or so before you hear from them.
