Hi all,

Need insights... Host or hotel for VCU interview on 12/14. Used my mileage for a free flight so I dont mind paying for a hotel and comfortable bed... But... a host might give me better insight into the school and the student body... Hmmm...

Haven't stayed with a VCU host before, but whenever possible I stayed with student hosts. Their insight has been invaluable.. it's amazing how much more you can learn in casual conversation than at a scheduled interview day.

I couldn't stay with a host on my interview (called too late + they had a test)... but I did stay at the Marriot downtown; cheap student rate ($70, i think), free breakfast, awesome room, free shuttle to restuarants and to the med center... totally recomend it (starbucks is also in the lounge, if you need a fix in the morning, too).
