I had my VCU interview. The staff and faculty seemed really friendly and very knowledgeable. I was impressed to begin with, but more impressed when I left. Definitely my #1 choice still. If I found out I was accepted there, I'd put my down payment down that day 😉

Anyway, this is somewhat related to VCU interviews: what vaccination are we supposed to be up to date with? Sharon called me when I was in class yesterday and I didn't really catch everything she said. Any help would be appreciated. 🙂

You're right. I apologize SugarNaCl because that was a bit derogatory. What I failed to mention is that you went and did well on your Masters degree. Nicely done! I know Dr. Healy looks highly on those who do a Master's tract.

They interview instate students first (they haven't done me because I didn't pay them early) But be patient, your time will come!😀

nothing got dirty...it was an obvious observation. i wasn't trying to be rude...i was just saying that girls get preference at vcu and graduating with a masters degree from there helped as well.

Hey, I go to VCU undergrad. The bus station is like 4/5 miles (maybe more) from the medical campus. The area is really shady so dont expect anything grand 🙂 When u get outside, there are usually a bunch of taxis out there so if thats what you are gonna do that'll be not problem. Taking a city bus from the bus station is prolly not a good idea bc u'll prolly have to switch buses and all that.

no ilikecows, that comment wasn't directed at you. All I mean is that people get upset when they hear about other interviews/stats etc. Everyone is just so competitive. It's easier to keep some information private. There are certain things in an application that may allow someone with 3.1 cum GPA and 18s on their DATs get 3 interviews while a person with 3.4 and 19s may not get any. I don't know exactly what those extra factors are.
