Hi everyone 🙂

Now that I've been accepted to VCU Pharmacy School, I'm trying to figure out some of the details for next year... such as finding a nice apartment and a roommate!

If anyone has any apartment suggestions or is interested in rooming together, please let me know.

Apartment wise - I am looking to rent a NICE and SAFE place in downtown Richmond, hopefully within walking distance (or close to a reliable bus stop) of the pharmacy building. I'm planning on driving to Richmond next week to look at several different apartment complexes downtown, so hopefully I'll find something suitable! :xf:

As far as roommates go, ideally, I'd like to find a female roommate that is part of the pharmacy class of 2015 as well, but I'm also open to rooming with other female dental or med students. Message me if you're interested! 🙂

Hello future VCU SoP classmates,

I am a current P1 (rising P2) student at VCU. If any of you have any questions or need any help with anything PM me and I would help as I can. Also, if you are from out of town and looking for apartments, I am more than happy to assist with what little knowledge I have of the good and bad areas. I am currently living in an area 3 miles away form campus in a gated complex (so it's nice a safe) that has a gas station, restaurants, 7-Eleven, bus stop, and Redbox DVD rental all right underneath it so if anyone is interested in any information let me know and I can ask the property management if there are any openings, just tell me when you were looking to move in and how many bedrooms needed. Good luck to everyone applying and for those of you who are still waiting on responses don't worry just yet, VCU takes FOREVER on getting back to you so it's all good in the R'mond hood.

My wife (will teach at VCU/SJR) and I (the Pharmacy student) are also looking for a roommate to live within walking distance of the VCU SOP. We would pay more than 1/2 of the rent/utilities since there are two of us. We do have a small dog (Terrier). Some of the properties we are considering are:

- Berry Burke
- Cedar Broad
- The Paper Company
- Various town homes w/in 1 mile

We would prefer a female, but all applicants would be considered.
Feel free to reach me via PM or AIM (preferred), which I will respond to faster.

Still looking for a roommate. I will be in Richmond looking at apartments first hand and walking the route from those apartments to school during the second week of March if anyone will be around that time we could meet up if you are interested in becoming a roommate.

Hello. I am a second-year female medical student looking for a female roommate for the 2011-2012 school year (and possibly beyond). I live Downtown in a 2ba/2br apartment on 13th and E Main (6-8 minute walk from the MCV campus). Rent would be about $600/person/month, and you would have your own bedroom and bathroom. If interested, email me at [email protected] for more info. Thanks.

Hey, I am a P2 student currently looking for a roommate to move into my apt. downtown. It is $595/person and is within walking distance to school or you can take the bus. It has a rooftop pool, hardwood floors, 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms. I am also a VT graduate 🙂 Let me know if you are still looking. Thanks!

For Vtpharm girl. I'm interested in being your roommate. My name is Stacy Chen and I just got into the pharmacy class of 2015 and I need a roommate because I have already found a place. It's called Cedar Broad at 1820 E. Broad St. and it's a 10 minute walk to the pharmacy school. I have a 2 year lease. Please email me at [email protected] if you still need a roommate.

Hi! are you still looking for a roommate? I'm Jennifer Tate. I was in the class of 2013 but due to a family emergency and missing a lot of school because of it, Dean Reinders thought it's be best for me to repeat the semester. So..I am returning in the fall as the class of 2014I am looking for a roommate/place to live once my current lease runs out. Please let me know if you think I would be a good roommate! thanks! 🙂

Just graduated pharmacy school and doing a residency here in Richmond, VA. I don't need a roommate but wanted to see where VCU pharmacy students hang out?!

Where do y'all hang out at? Haha...
