Hey everyone,

I spoke with Dr Healy last week and he said that the adcom was meeting today (the 21st) for the last round of acceptances. I'm very anxious to hear back from them, so I was wondering if anyone has heard from them yet today? Or if you think we'll hear tomorrow instead? Thanks!

I was wondering the same thing. They said they would let us all know today, but since it is Presidents Day I wonder if they are even meeting?? I think tomorrow will be the day.

Yeah Dr. Healy said that those from the 3rd round would hear yesterday but it was Presidents day, so today... I wonder what is going on.

What does it say on your aadsas page? Does it still say invited for interview or something different now?

oh man alternate.. that means they already sent out the 3rd wave acceptance. no one on SDN heard from them?

Tooth, I agree, I find it hard to believe no one on SDN has gotten accepted if in fact they were already sent out within the past two days. No one's statuses on predents has changed either for the third round, I find that odd too..

Sharkteeth88 I say we keep our hopes up. I think it's an aadsas delay, my interview status didn't change until 3 days later (from the day the school actually updated it).

so hopefully it's not too late.

Got a call from dr healy today and was placed on the alternate list. I guess that's better than nothing, hopefully I still have a good shot at getting accepted

No they made yhe alternate list which means they done accepting.

I got the call too, i am an alternate.

It looks like no one from sdn has been accepted this round. My aadsas page still says invited for interview, but I haven't received a call yet. I hope I didn't get rejected.

My status just updated! I called the office today and she said that if my status still said invited for interview, that I had been rejected, but I just checked it again and it said wait listed. This isn't what I wanted, but I feel way better now then I did a second ago!!

I don't think so. I think you need to give it another day. I called the office and AADSAS, and they said the updates were immediate, which can't be true, because she said the decisions were updated Tuesday, and mine changed around 12. I also have not gotten a call from Dr. Healy.

I asked today, they were noncommittal about it but said they were selected already but would not be notified until maybe sometime in march.

They typically give out D.5 invites ~March 10th or a bit after each year. It's been as late as March 30th (2 years ago).

I do believe the alternate list is completed and all have been notified, but am only 99% on it.

i think you are still in the running. my year a d.5 invite never changed from invited for interview, even after you were accepted, i assume because you are not really accepted statistics wise, and there is no "d.5" aadsas status for them to give you.

true, I'm D.5 and status never changed except maybe to say "under review". I and another D.5 didn't receive word until a letter dated march 12th was received. Stay encouraged, don't give up, and call Dr. Healy after march to set up an appt for the summer to find out what you can change in order to get in. Took me a few years of applying and trying so don't give up on your dream!
