Hi!

I am filling out UVM’s secondary and it asks about speeding tickets in the last 5 years. I was given a failure to completely stop at a stop sign ticket about 4 years ago and plead guilty. Should I report this? In my state, traffic tickets are minor infractions, but it would still potentially show up on a background check and I don’t want to be caught lying.

Read the prompt (which prompt is this?) and follow the instructions. If the prompt doesn't specify how serious the charge should be,

It just says exactly that, “any Speeding tickets in the last 5 years” and then you click yes or no

Don't over think your answer. Simply answer the call of the question. A violation for a rolling stop is not a speeding ticket.
